Lake Oswego Home

When the homeowners and their custom builder were still in the design phase of this Lake Oswego residence, they brought us in to make sure the lighting was considered from the very beginning — not bolted on at the end. That early involvement let us design alongside the architecture itself: architectural uplighting on the beams and columns, layered illumination around the pool surround and hardscape, accent lighting tracing the hillside and driveway, and carefully placed fixtures that draw out the warm, rustic tones of the home’s corrugated metal accents. Wood, stone, metal, water — each material asked something different of the light, and because we were at the table during design, the plan accounted for all of it.
This is the kind of project that’s only possible when design and installation live under one roof. Every fixture was specified during the design phase, then refined on-site as the light actually met the materials in real conditions — the kind of small, decisive adjustments you simply can’t make when a plan is handed off to a separate installer. The result is, hands down, one of the most detailed and comprehensive outdoor lighting systems we’ve ever installed in Lake Oswego: a property that’s beautiful by day and unforgettable after dark. If you’re building or planning a custom home in the area and want lighting considered from day one, we’d love to walk the project with you.
